A vertically integrated chili supplier: 2,000+ hectares of owned plantation, industrial-scale processing and export-ready documentation under one roof.
ChiliCraft began in 1996 as a family plantation in Shandong province, China's premier chili-growing region. What started as cultivation for domestic spice makers became an export business in 2005, when our first container of whole dried chili shipped to Europe.
Today we operate a 30,000+ ton annual-capacity facility that cleans, dries, crushes, mills and packs chili to buyer specifications in 50+ countries — from bulk 25kg industrial bags to fully printed private-label retail pouches.
Because we control the chain from seed to shipment, every lot is traceable, every shipment matches the approved sample, and every document is prepared by our own export team.
Quality is not a final check — it is five enforced gates. Nothing ships until every lot has passed all five, with records kept for trace-back.
Variety, origin and pesticide rapid screening on every delivery of fresh and dried pods.
Online moisture monitoring during drying; particle-size spot checks at every milling shift.
Full panel on every lot: SHU, ASTA, moisture, ash, water activity and microbiology.
Re-sampling against the approved reference before container loading. SGS / BV on request.
COA issued with the lot number; a full trace-back file is archived for every shipment.
Our QC lab tests each production lot against the contractual spec before release. Methods follow internationally recognized standards.
| Parameter | Method | Release Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Scoville Heat (SHU) | HPLC capsaicinoids | ±10% of target spec |
| ASTA Color | ASTA 20.1 extraction | ≥ agreed minimum |
| Moisture | Oven loss, 105°C | ≤ 12% |
| Total Ash | Incineration, 550°C | ≤ 8% |
| Water Activity | aw meter | ≤ 0.65 |
| TPC / Yeast / Mold | Plate count | Within contract limits |
| Salmonella | PCR screening | Negative |
Controlling each step is how we keep heat, color and cleanliness consistent from one container to the next.
