Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on ordering, specifications, OEM development and export logistics. Cannot find yours? Our export team replies within one business day.

01Ordering & MOQ

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 1 x 20ft FCL per item. Mixed containers combining several products (for example whole chili, flakes and powder) are welcome and help new buyers test the full range. For qualified trial orders we can also ship LCL or smaller volumes with adjusted pricing.
Can I get samples before placing an order?
Yes. We provide 50-200g lab-tested samples with a COA for qualified B2B buyers, free of charge; you only cover the courier cost. Samples are typically dispatched within 5-7 working days.
How do I get a quotation?
Share your target specification (SHU, ASTA color, mesh size), packaging, volume and destination port. Our export team replies within one business day with FOB/CIF pricing, valid for 15-30 days depending on the market.
What payment terms do you accept?
T/T (30% deposit, 70% against B/L copy) is standard. We accept L/C at sight for orders above USD 20,000. Open-account terms become available after an established track record.

02Quality & Specifications

What Scoville (SHU) range can you supply?
Our standard range runs from 500 to 90,000 SHU across varieties, with a typical product at 15,000 SHU. Custom heat profiles for private label and industrial formulations are blended to your target value, with tolerance held between shipments.
What ASTA color values are available?
We supply from 40 to 180 ASTA, typically 120, tuned to your regional preference. Higher ASTA means stronger red color. We lock the agreed value into the production spec so the color stays consistent container after container.
How do you control quality batch by batch?
Raw material is inspected on arrival, in-process checks track moisture and particle size, and every finished lot is sampled and tested in our own lab for SHU, ASTA, moisture, ash and microbiology. A COA accompanies every shipment, and pre-shipment inspection by SGS or BV can be arranged.
Which certifications do you hold?
Our facility is certified to ISO 22000, HACCP and BRCGS, and is registered with the US FDA. HALAL and KOSHER certificates are available for the relevant product lines. Copies are shared during onboarding.

03OEM & Private Label

Can you manufacture under our own brand?
Yes. We develop and produce finished chili products under your brand — from formula tuning and heat/color matching to printed retail packaging. Share your benchmark product or target spec and we will propose a formulation with samples.
What packaging options do you support?
Bulk formats include 25kg PP/PE bags and 10kg cartons. Retail formats include stand-up pouches, jars, bottles and sachets, printed to your artwork. We can also pack using packaging supplied by you.
How long does OEM development take?
First samples typically take 7-14 days. After your approval, the first bulk production run takes 25-35 days depending on packaging printing lead time.

04Logistics & Export

Which trade terms do you offer?
FOB Qingdao is standard; CIF to major ports worldwide and DDP for selected destinations are available on request. We work with forwarders offering competitive ocean freight and container tracking.
Which export documents do you provide?
The full set: commercial invoice, packing list, COA, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin (FORM A / RCEP where applicable), fumigation certificate and insurance policy when required.
What is the typical lead time?
15-25 days after deposit for standard items; 25-35 days for custom grinds or OEM production. Peak season (October to February) may add about one week.
What is the shelf life and how should chili be stored?
Whole, flakes and powder keep for 24 months from production when stored dry, cool and away from direct sunlight. Oleoresin shelf life is 18 months. Each COA states the production date and best-before.
